Self-clinching Concealed-Head Standoffs

These Stainless Steel standoffs assure permanent mounting in metal sheets as thin as 0.062 in (1.6 mm). The fastener head is locked securely in a blind milled hole and is able to handle substantial loads. The concealed head feature allows the side opposite installation to remain smooth and unmarred.

Self-Clinching Projection Weld Nuts

These weld nuts provide load bearing threads in sheets too thin to tap, provide lower equipment and labor costs, and are designed for faster assembly. They overcome many problems associated with other weld nuts – burnouts, complicated electrodes and pilots, tedious time-consuming indexing and re-tapping to remove weld spatter. Their design, based on the experience of hundreds of users of weld nuts and speed production using standard equipment, thereby reduces labor costs.

These weld nuts also offer the added advantages of resisting corrosion and being essentially nonmagnetic.

Self-Clinching Fasteners for Stainless Steel

These fasteners are designed for permanent installation into stainless steel sheets as thin as 0.030 inches (0.8 mm). Machined from a specialty stainless steel, these fasteners are heat-treated to create fasteners that are higher on the Rockwell Hardness scale than most 300 Series Stainless Steels. This feature enables these fasteners to be installed into stainless sheets, employing the same self-clinching principle, which proved successful over the years in thousands of applications.
